MISSION AND GOALS

2006

MRV Mission Statement

MISSION: Our organization is dedicated to building an international society in which people of diverse backgrounds live in peace, understanding, and friendship.

 

GOALS:

  • To bring the world back home by sharing our experiences and lessons learned.
  • To educate others about issues of social justice, health, and third world development.
  • To promote an ethic of service by serving locally and recruiting others to do service.
  • To advocate through the political process for social, political, and economic justice.
  • To help returned volunteers be a stronger voice by networking together as an organization.
  • To assist recruitment and support the goals of the Peace corps and NPCA.
  • To support actively serving Peace corps Volunteers from Maryland.
  • To collaborate with similar volunteer organizations toward common goals.
